We have spent the last year partnering with Commissioner Micallef to build the first-ever EU Strategy on Intergenerational Fairness. Our goal was clear: ensuring that today’s decisions honor the needs of tomorrow’s generations.
The EU Policy Lab led this initiative by applying our multidisciplinary toolkit—spanning foresight, design, and science for policy—to shape the strategy’s direction. During 2025, we turned this vision into a collaborative reality, bringing together citizens, experts, and institutions to reimagine what fairness looks like across generations and, crucially, how to make it a reality.
