
The Commission has published an updated version of the ERA Living Guidelines on the responsible use of Generative AI in research. These guidelines provide clear and practical recommendations to help the research community adopt and use generative artificial intelligence responsibly.
The updated Living Guidelines have been revised to reflect the rapid progress in generative AI technologies and their growing impact on the scientific community. While maintaining their simple and practical approach, the guidelines also strengthen key research integrity principles such as accountability, transparency, and responsibility in the context of current generative AI use.
